  Part A Hospital Care    
  This part of Medicare typically helps pay for inpatient hospital care, skilled nursing, home health care and hospice care. Most medicare beneficiaries do not pay for this coverage.   Part B Medical Services    
  This part of Medicare typically helps pay for doctor visits, outpatient care, and certain oncology drugs. Most people pay for this coverage which starts at $110 month.   Part C Medicare Advantage Plans    
 

Medicare Advantage plans are health plans that are a part of the Medicare program. These plans are offered through private insurance companies and must provide coverage equal to or better than Original Medicare which is Part A Hospital and Part B Medical.   If you enroll in one of these plans, you typically get all your Medicare-covered health care from that plan. You must have Part A and Part B and continue to pay the Medicare Part B premiums. There may be an additional monthly premium paid to the Medicare health plan.

Most Medicare prescription drugs coverage is provided by private insurance plans. You are not required to purchase this coverage, but if you dont, there may be a penalty.
