| Anthems Up Front deductible health plans pays for your medical costs after a deductible. There are 2 types of plans. A 80/20 plan and a 100% plan. These medical insurance plans have a deductible that must be met before the plan pays for doctors, hospitals and other medical services. Once you have paid the "up front deductible" and or coinsurance, you have 100% insurance coverage for doctors, hospitals, and medical services.
